about

For "UM", multi-instrumentalist Ulrich Kisters and pianist Marc Mennigmann spent a day at THE LAB in Dortmund to record intuitive music, improvised pieces without any previous arrangements or notes. What happened was a conscious-stream of dadaistic compositions and dialogues.

In the editing process, the pieces were only cut or shortened. This is a collection of ad hoc compositions, sound experiments, improvisations and pieces that sound like they were composed - but aren't.
